The Jolly Rogers Gets Air Play...
December. 04. 2006.
If you didn't know, I am a drummer in a band. We're called The Jolly Rogers. Well, we're called a lot of things... a lot of not-so-nice things. It took us forever to come up with a band name, but Chris Scharling finally nailed it and I made the sweet logo (if I do say so myself). We finally found a bass player, Adam Lawrence, too. Not sure when we'll actually play a show, but I will post it here most likely.Regardless, we got some air time last night on 104.9 The New Edge in Albany, NY. Thanks to Ralph Renna (the host of the local band show), he heard one of our tunes, Creative Differences, and decided to play it on the air. Next stop, world tour!
We're still working on the full album, Crown Remedy. We have one more day in the studio at DryHill Studios in Oneonta (December 10th) and we're hoping we can get the last of the mixing and mastering finished up. Then we can finally press the album and play some shows. So check us out on myspace for now, and let me know what you think. Thanks!
